Nutrition Team Lead, Ethiopia Resilience in Pastoral Areas Activity
ACDI/VOCA is seeking a Nutrition Team Lead for the upcoming Resilience in Pastoral Areas Activity in Ethiopia funded by USAID. The anticipated program will increase the resilience of households, markets, and governance institutions as well as the utilization of early warning signs across pastoralist communities in Ethiopia’s, contributing to enhanced food security and inclusive economic growth.
The Nutrition Team Lead will design and direct nutrition specific activities in accordance with global best practices and donor requirements. Additionally, they will identify and develop opportunities to integrate nutrition with other thematic areas across the project, including through nutrition-sensitive agriculture, market systems, and food systems development approaches. They will participate in strategy, program implementation, program monitoring, and evaluation in relation to integrated nutrition, including capacity building and technical assistance to government and community stakeholders. The program is anticipated to start in 2025, and this position will (tentatively) be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
