General Call, Timor-Leste Marine Biodiversity Activity 

ACDI/VOCA is seeking multiple positions for an upcoming Healthy Ocean, Protected Environment (HOPE) for a Resilient Community Activity in Timor-Leste funded by USAID. The anticipated program will strengthen biodiversity conservation efforts in Timor-Leste in the marine environment, support local communities to be more resilient to climate impacts, and inclusively and sustainably ensure the sustainable use of natural resources in development.  

The program is anticipated to start in 2025 and this position will be based in Timor-Leste. 

Seeking Candidates for the Following Positions/Areas of Expertise: 

Technical Leads: 

• Tourism Market System Expert 

• Natural Resource Management and Marine Conservation 

• Fisheries and Aquaculture 

• Alternative Livelihoods 

• Entrepreneurship 

• Regenerative Agriculture 

Cross Cutting: 

• Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion 

• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning 

Administration: 

• Finance Director 

• Accountant 

• Grants Manager 

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required; master’s degree is desired.   

• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in relevant field.  

• Experience working in Timor-Leste preferred.  

• Fluency in English is required.
