ISO 22000 Certification Auditor, Afghanistan
ACDI/VOCA is seeking an ISO 22000 Certification Auditor for the Afghanistan Value Chains – High Value Crops (AVC-HVC) project. The USAID-funded AVC-HVC project will work with anchor firms nationwide to reverse market failures, strengthen backward and forward linkages, drive growth, and create jobs for men, women, and youth along the fruit and nuts, high-value horticulture, spices, and medicinal crops value chains. The project will contribute positive and measurable impacts to the sectors and will ensure that local market actors are involved at every stage of the value chain.
The 22000 Certification Auditor will work with approximately 10 anchor firms that require assistance in obtaining certification for the ISO 22000 standards with export in mind. The assignment will have two phases, with AVC-HVC supporting firms in between phases to support them in making improvements needed to attain ISO 22000 certification. The objective of the first phase is to identify each firm’s needs to obtain ISO 22000 certification and provide guidance to help firms make improvements needed to attain ISO 22000 certification. The objective of the second phase is to evaluate each firm’s compliance with ISO 22000.
