Chief of Party, Rwanda
ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Chief of Party for the anticipated USAID Nguirza Nshore project in Rwanda. The project will facilitate the emergence of a dynamic off-farm sector that can generate greater employment at a higher wage than subsistence agriculture provides. By alleviating constraints to entrepreneurship and increasing access to financing, off-farm businesses will be expanded and created in both urban and rural environments, stimulating employment that provides opportunity for rural populations. Nguriza Nshore Activity is a forward-thinking project which is designed for flexibility in response to learning and dynamism in the environment. The activity is funded by USAID and is envisioned to start in 2018.
The Chief of Party will oversee all technical activities and staff with an adaptive management approach to project implementation. The Chief of Party will lead engagement efforts to attract financial institutions and private sector actors to the entrepreneurial ecosystem.The position is based in Kigali, Rwanda.
